This interview was conducted as part of Oral History Winter School: Shaking the Family Tree. The workshop took place at Drop Forge & Tool on January 11 - 14, 2019. Students interviewed each other as part of a life interview exercise, and want their interviews archived in the Oral History Summer School alumni archive. Interviews were conducted in Hudson, at Drop Forge & Tool as well as one student’s host home.
Oral history is an iterative process. In keeping with oral history values of anti-fixity, interviewees will have an opportunity to add, annotate and reflect upon their lives and interviews in perpetuity. Talking back to the archive is a form of “shared authority.”
